Sebastian Thomson is an
“inspiring musician who adds a fresh and exhilarating perspective to
his performances” on what is often referred to as the king of
instruments.
In addition to playing the organ, Sebastian is an accomplished choral
director and teacher with a growing reputation that is developing with
speed. Future projects include the development of his organ recital
schedule, choral conducting workshops and adding to his examining

Sebastian is delighted to announce that Simon Whalley
(Director of Music, Keble College, Oxford) and Matthew
Martin (previously Assistant Master of the Music at
Westminster Cathedral) will be writing organ works for
performances in 2012 and 2013. Simon will write a opening
fanfare for the Westminster Abbey recital on 23rd September
and Festal Peaen for a performance at Keble College, Oxford
on 3rd November. Talks are on going with Matthew but he has
been given a blank canvass!
